To simplify the departure process for employees in your company, you can add an end-of-position date in their employee profile.
Steps to Follow:
How to Add a Departure Period?
Go to the Employees module, then to the List tab. Click on View Profile for the employee of your choice.
In the employee profile, go to the Job, Salary, and Vacation tab, then select Unavailability and Departure Periods. Set the departure date and optionally add a note. Click on Save.
Notes:
After this date, the employee’s Altee account will be immediately deactivated. This means they will no longer appear in the list of active employees. However, you can view inactive employee accounts by clicking on the Show Inactive Employees button.
How to Rehire an Inactive Employee?
You can rehire employees whose accounts have become inactive due to departure. To do this:
Activate the Show Inactive Employees button.
Look through this list for the employee you want to rehire and click on View Profile.
Go to the Job, Salary, and Vacation tab, then select Unavailability and Departure Periods. Click on Rehire.
The employee’s account will become active again, and they will appear in your regular list of employees.
