How to Create a News Post?

What Is the Purpose of This Feature?

The platform includes a feature that facilitates information sharing within your company by allowing you to publish news visible to your employees directly on their Altee accounts.

Steps to Follow:

  • Go to the News module and click on Create News.
  • Fill in the required information and click on Publish.

 Notes:

  • You can categorize your news posts with tags, making them easier to sort.
  • You can also publish the news under your name or the company’s name.
  • Several tools are available in the news editor to insert text, images, links, and even polls.
  • You can select the location, group, or employee who will see the news post.
  • If you want to publish the news immediately, select the Published status. If you want to publish it later, select the Draft status.
  • To publish a draft, click on the Menu button (three vertical dots), then on Edit, change the publication status to Published, and finally click on Save.
  • All published news will appear on the dashboards of the targeted employees. Employees can like and comment on the news posts visible on their dashboards. However, comments cannot be edited or deleted. To delete comments, you will need to delete the news post.
  • You can see the view percentage of your news post on the right side once it is published.
  • You can pin, edit, duplicate, or delete news posts by clicking on the small pin or the Menu button (three vertical dots) at the top of the news post.
