How to Log Your Worked Hours?

Retour

What Is the Purpose of This Feature?

On Altee, there is an option to log your worked hours in a simple and accessible way, anytime and anywhere. This feature facilitates real-time tracking of hours, improving the accuracy and reliability of total work hour calculations.

Steps to Follow:

There are different options for logging your hours on Altee. The choice of this option depends on your manager. To log your worked hours, simply click on the button to the left of the notification bell. However, the button may vary depending on your manager's choice.

  • If the manager selected the "None" option, you will not see any button to the right of the notification bell. This area will remain empty. You will not be able to log your hours or use the time clock.
  • If the manager selected the "Hour Declaration" option for your account, you can log your worked hours yourself by clicking on the Log My Hours button to the right of the notification bell. A small form will appear where you can select the date, hours, type of hours, and assignment with details if applicable. Finally, click on Add.

Notes:

If you take a meal break, you must log two distinct periods of worked hours. Log your hours first from the start of your workday until the beginning of your break. Then, log your hours again from the end of your break until the end of your workday. This ensures that break hours are not included in the total calculation of your worked hours.

  • If the administrator selected the "Clock-In Without Photo" option, to log your hours, simply click on the time clock next to the notification bell when you start your workday, and click it again when you finish your day. The time clock will automatically record the hours that have elapsed between when you started and stopped it.

Notes:

  • Don’t forget to start your time clock, as no hours will be recorded otherwise.
  • Also, don’t forget to stop it when you finish your workday, as this could distort your recorded hours.
  • During breaks, you can stop your time clock and restart it when your break is over.
  • If the administrator selected the "Clock-In With Photo" option, its functionality is similar to the "Clock-In Without Photo" option. The only difference is that your device will take a photo of you each time you start or stop the time clock.

Notes:

  • Ensure your device has a front-facing camera; otherwise, you won’t be able to activate the time clock.
  • On Altee, there is an external time clock your manager can send you via a URL link, allowing you to start or stop your time clock even if you are not logged into your Altee account.
  • If the manager selected the "Block Hour Logging" option, click on Log My Hours. Then select the date, initial entry time, and add hour blocks with the necessary details. Finally, click on Save.

Notes:

  • You may be asked to select the type of hours, assignment, and details. This depends on how your manager configured your hour logging. Simply fill in the necessary fields and click on Add.
