How to Manage Your Employees' Leave Requests?

What Is the Purpose of This Feature?

You can access all your employees’ leave requests, with the ability to easily sort them for simplified management. You can also view the real-time vacation balance for each employee and decide which requests to approve or deny.

Steps to Follow:

  • Go to the Company Side, then to the Schedule Planning module, and click on the Vacations and Absences tab. You will see a list of all your employees' leave requests. Select the request you are interested in, click on the Status box on the right, and change the status.
  • A form will appear, showing the details of the request, including the category, date, current leave balances, and comments. Leave requests will automatically be deducted from the current permitted leave balance. You can also modify the days or hours deducted directly on the form.
  • You can add a comment, which will be visible to the employee.
  • When finished, click on Save.

Notes:

  • The employee will see on their account whether their request was approved or denied.
  • You can delete requests from the list by clicking on the X to the right of the request status.  
  • You can modify the vacation, sick, and absence balances by clicking on the pencil icon to the right of the remaining days.
  • Use the filters to help sort requests in the list. Once you have configured your filter, click Apply to view the results.
