How to Schedule Work Hours for One or More Employees?

What Is the Purpose of This Feature?

There is an option that allows you to schedule your employees' work hours. This option facilitates time management, optimizes productivity, and ensures a fairer distribution of work hours within your company.

Steps to Follow:

  • Go to the Schedule Planning module, in the Work Hours tab, and click on the plus button on the right.
  • Fill in the form with the necessary information and click on Add.
  • All the schedules you create will appear on the Dashboard and will be visible to the relevant employees.

Notes:

  • You can select multiple employees and assign them the same work hours.
  • If your company has multiple locations, you can choose the appropriate time zone for each location. To do this, click on the Globe icon and select the relevant time zone.
  • You cannot select a date range exceeding 24 hours. However, with the Add Recurrence option, you can schedule your employees' work hours over several weeks, including specific date ranges.

How to Add a Recurrence?.

  • Fill in the Schedule Creation Form and click on Add Recurrence.
  • Select the days of the week you are interested in and the recurrence frequency. Don’t forget to select the End Date for the recurrence.
  • When satisfied, click on Add.

Notes:

Regarding the recurrence frequency, if you want the work hours to appear every week in the calendar, select. If you want the work hours to appear every two weeks, select 2 weeks, and so on.

How to Modify or Delete Schedules You Have Created?

To modify or delete an employee’s schedule you have created:

  • In the Work Hours tab, click on the Day View or Week View option. Then click on the employee's profile photo.
  • Modify the information as needed and click on Save.
  • To delete, click on Delete Schedule.

Notes:

  • You cannot modify the dates.
  • If you added a recurrence, you can use the Modify Recurring Event option to edit this event, the following events, or all events at once.
  • To do this, follow the same steps mentioned earlier and select the events you want to modify. Finally, click on Save.
  • To delete one or more events, select one of the three options in the Modify Recurring Event menu and click on Delete Schedule.
